Eliminating Transphobic, HOmophobic and biphobic Stereotypes through better media representation
In view of the important role of the media in countering negative stereotypes against LGBT people and preventing and combatting discrimination based on sexual orientation, the project will target:
Το ΚΜΟΠ-Κέντρο Κοινωνικής Δράσης και Καινοτομίας είναι μη κυβερνητική oργάνωση που ιδρύθηκε το 1977 με σκοπό τη στήριξη ατόμων που απειλούνται από κοινωνικό αποκλεισμό και περιθωριοποίηση, την παροχή ολοκληρωμένων υπηρεσιών για την κοινωνική και επαγγελματική επανένταξη ανέργων και ατόμων που ανήκουν σε ευπαθείς κοινωνικά ομάδες, την ανάπτυξη υποβαθμισμένων περιοχών, την επιστημονική έρευνα και την παροχή τεχνογνωσίας σε θέματα κοινωνικής πολιτικής.
Το ΚΜΟΠ έχει ειδίκευση στο να υλοποιεί καινοτόμες ιδέες με σκοπό την προώθηση θετικού κοινωνικού αντικτύπου.
Η αποστολή του είναι να εμπνεύσει και να υποστηρίξει καινοτόμες ιδέες που θα βελτιώσουν τις ζωές των ανθρώπων και θα προωθήσουν μία βιώσιμη κοινωνία χωρίς αποκλεισμούς.
Το ΚΜΟΠ είναι ο Συντονιστής του έργου, υπεύθυνο για την διαχείρισή του ενώ εμπλέκεται σε όλες τις δραστηριότητές του. Παράλληλα, σε συνεργασία με την Colour Youth διοργανώνει τα εκπαιδευτικά σεμινάρια για φοιτητές & επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ στην Ελλάδα. Το ΚΜΟΠ είναι υπεύθυνο και για τις δραστηριότητες διάχυσης του έργου όπως η καμπάνια στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube).
The Center for Civic Initiatives Poreč is a human rights, feminist, peaceful and non-profit civil society organization that, respecting the principles of freedom and equality since 1992, protects and promotes human rights and active citizenship, provides direct protection, publicly advocates and lobby representatives public authorities, raising and educating citizens and citizens, supporting the work and development of civil society organizations and civic initiatives that contribute to the general good and the strengthening of civil society.
CCIP is partner in “ETHoS” project and responsible to organize the training workshops to media students and professionals in Croatia, while it will develop in cooperation with partners the Policy & Recommendation Paper on LGBT Media Reporting. CCIP has contributed to the development of the LGBT Media Reporting Guide.
H οργάνωση Center for Civic Initiatives με έδρα το Porec της Κροατίας ασχολείται με τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, την διαμόρφωση μίας ειρηνικής και μη κερδοσκοπικής Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών που σέβεται τις αρχές της ελευθερίας και της ισότητας. Από το 1992 προστατεύει και προωθεί τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα, την ενεργή συμμετοχή του πολίτη, ενημερώνει και εκπαιδεύει τους πολίτες ενώ υποστηρίζει την ανάπτυξη οργανώσεων για την ενίσχυση της Κοινωνίας των Πολιτών.
Στο E.T.Ho.S είναι εταίρος και υπεύθυνη για την διοργάνωση των εκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων σε φοιτητές & επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ στην Κροατία, ενώ θα αναπτύξει, με τη συνεργασία των εταίρων, το κείμενο πολιτικής και συστάσεων στο πλαίσιο του έργου.
Η LGL είναι ο μόνος μη κυβερνητικός οργανισμός στη Λιθουανία αποκλειστικά αφιερωμένος στην εκπροσώπηση των συμφερόντων της ΛΟΑΤ κοινότητας. Η θεμελιώδης αρχή που διέπει τις δραστηριότητες της οργάνωσης είναι η πολιτική και οικονομική ανεξαρτησία και η αποτελεσματική κοινωνική ενσωμάτωση της ΛΟΑΤ κοινότητας στη Λιθουανία. Η LGL επιδιώκει τη διασφάλιση των ανθρωπίνων δικαιωμάτων της ΛΟΑΤ κοινότητας και την ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση του κοινού.
Στο “ETHoS” είναι εταίρος και υπεύθυνη για την διοργάνωση των εκπαιδευτικών σεμιναρίων για φοιτητές & επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ στη Λιθουανία, ενώ συνέβαλε στην ανάπτυξη του οδηγού για επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ.
Η Colour Youth ιδρύθηκε ως Σωματείο το 2012. Σκοπός της είναι η δημιουργία μιας ισχυρής κοινότητας ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ νέων, η υποστήριξη και ενδυνάμωση των ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ νέων, η ανάδειξη των ζητημάτων που αφορούν την ΛΟΑΤΚΙ+ νεολαία και η διεκδίκηση των δικαιωμάτων της. Είναι μέλος του Δικτύου Καταγραφής Περιστατικών Ρατσιστικής Βίας και μία από τους/τις εκπρόσωπους του στο Εθνικό Συμβούλιο κατά του Ρατσισμού και της Μισαλλοδοξίας, καθώς και των διεθνών οργανώσεων ILGA-Europe, IGLYO και Transgender Europe.
Στα πλαίσια του Έργου E.T.Ho.S., η Colour Youth προετοίμασε το Ερευνητικό Πρωτόκολλο, σύμφωνα με το οποίο διεξήχθη η έρευνα πεδίου και η έρευνα δευτερογενών πηγών. Ανέλαβε επίσης την επιμέλεια του Οδηγού για επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ και την προετοιμασία του Εκπαιδευτικού Εγχειριδίου και του Εκπαιδευτικού Προγράμματος, με βάση τα οποία διεξήχθησαν τα εκπαιδευτικά εργαστήρια για φοιτητές-τριες και επαγγελματίες ΜΜΕ στις χώρες τους. Τέλος, είχε ένα ιδιαίτερο ρόλο στις δράσεις διάδοσης και επικοινωνίας, αναλαμβάνοντας τη διοργάνωση του Τελικού Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου.
The National lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) human rights organization LGL is the only non-governmental organization in Lithuania exclusively dedicated to representing the interests of the local LGBT community. Having begun operations on December 3rd, 1993, LGL is one of the most mature and stable organizations in the country‘s civil sector. The fundamental principle behind the organization‘s activities is independence from any political or financial interests whilst striving for effective inclusion and social integration of the LGBT community in Lithuania. LGL seeks to achieve consistent LGBT human rights progress, drawing on its twenty years of experience in advocacy, awareness-raising and community building.
LGL is partner in the “ETHoS” project, organizing trainings for media students and professionals in Lithuania and contributing to project research and publications. LGL has contributed to the development of the LGBT Media Reporting Guide.
Colour Youth was founded as an Organization in 2012, aiming to provide a safe space for LGBTQI+ youth to better express themselves and assert their rights. Colour Youth’s main objectives include the formulation of an active LGBTQI+ Youth community, the support and empowerment of LGBTQI+ youth, raising awareness regarding issues that affect LGBTQI+ youth and advocating for its rights. Colour Youth is a member of the (Greek) Racist Violence Recording Network and one of its representatives in the (Greek) National Council Against Racism and Intolerance, as well as a member of the international organizations ILGA-Europe, Transgender Europe and IGLYO.
During the E.T.Ho.S. Project, Colour Youth was responsible to develop the LGBT Media Reporting Guide, the Training Manual and Programme and will deliver training workshops to media students and professionals. ColourYouth will organize the Final International Conference.

KMOP’s mission is to inspire and support innovative ideas to change people’s lives, tackling the causes of vulnerability and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth for everyone.
KMOP is the Project Coordinator of “ETHoS” project, responsible for the project management and has been involved in all project activities, while it will deliver trainings to media students and professionals in Greece. KMOP is also leader in the dissemination activities of the project (including the social media campaign on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube).
